Time Use Survey (TUS)

The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia is conducting Time Use Survey on regular basis. Till now, three surveys were conducted in Serbia: 2010 (full scale), 2015 (LTUS - Light Time Use Survey) and 2021 (full scale).
I have been engaged in all three surveys for data processing, to produce time use statistics and do necessary analysis. The results of surveys are published in books: Time Use in the Republic of Serbia 2010/2011, How Three Generations Use Their Time in the Republic of Serbia 2010/2011, Time Use in the Republic of Serbia, 2010 and 2015 and Time Use in the Republic of Serbia 2021/2022.

Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey

The Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey provides statistically sound and internationally comparable data essential for developing evidence-based policies and programs and for monitoring progress toward national goals and global commitments. Among these global commitments are those arising from the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It is a representative survey collecting data on the situation of households, women and children. These surveys have been conducted in Serbia from 1995 and the last one (sixth round) was conducted in 2019. The new MICS7 will be conducted in 2015, in the second half of the year.

I have been engaged as a data processing specialist in three surveys conducted by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (SORS), in 2010, 2014 and 2019. It means programming data entry application, producing relevant statistics and finally the surveys archives.

Monitoring situation and development of municipalities

DevInfo is a database system used for monitoring human development and for the planning and reporting purposes. It is a powerful tool for organizing and storing indicators and for making efficient visualizations. From 2014, I am engaged in planning and making databases, keeping trainings and providing support to end users. For more information on DevInfo please visit DevInfo Serbia web site.

Publications on Monitoring and evaluation, and SDG

I am co/author of the Report on Progress in achieving Sustainable Development Goals until 2030 in the Republic of Serbia compared to EU-27 and the countries in the region. This report is available at SDGS FOR ALL web site.

I am co/author of two articles Using DevInfo to support Governments in monitoring National Development strategies and Using DevInfo as a strategic tool to facilitate local communities' empowerment. The case of Serbia, that were published in Bridging the gap: The role of monitoring and evaluation in evidence-based policy making.
