In an easy way use the EU SDG Profile Creator to make report (an excel document) with SDG indicators relevant in an EU context. Then you can monitor the progress in achieving SDG goals for your country and compare with others.
EU SDG Profile Creator is the Windows desktop application aimed to produce an comprehensive excel document (profile), with data, tables and charts for the EU SDG indicators. It uses Eurostat statistics web services to access Eurostat's datasets. Most recent version is 2025.1 (March 2025).

In application you can select the interface language, profile language (Eurobase: English, French, German or Serbian* translation), year for the EU SDG indicators set, indicators, geo/countries, chart type and time period(s) for the profile you want to create. Optionally, you can create the summary statistics to get info for how many indicators are data available for the selected country. See profile example.
*New languages could be added in future versions.
The generated profile is an Excel document. It contains tables, charts and descriptions (short metadata) for each indicator selected in the app. Each indicator is placed on its own sheet. Monitoring information as defined by European Commission were also added: monitoring trend, quantitative targets and target year (where available).
This application requires the Internet connection and Microsoft Excel, in order to access the Eurostat database and prepare the profile! Most recent version is 2025.1 released in March 2025.
You can either (1) download the setup program and install the application on your computer or (2) use the portable version. With portable version you do not need to install the software. Simply unzip the file PORTABLE.ZIP in any folder at your own choice (PC, flash drive etc.) and run the program EUSDGProfileCreator.exe

Q: What I need to run the software on my PC?
A: You need Windows 7 or higher version, MS Excel and Internet connection.
Q: Do I have to install this program in order to use it?
A: No. You can download and use the portable version of this program
(see in Download tab).
Q: What about charts generated in the profile?
A: The charts generated in the profile are pure excel chart objects that allow further customization and are easy to use in other applications (Word, PowerPoint presentations etc.). Each table has an associated chart, placed on the same sheet.
Q: How to navigate within profile?
A: There is a CONTENTS (second sheet) having a list of all indicators, with links to their sheets. This new feature was added in version 2024.1. If the SUMMARY STATISTICS is selected to be generated, there is also a link to that info. On each indicators sheet there is also the link to CONTENTS sheet, to ease the navigation back and forth within profile, that is especially useful if there are a lot of indicators (sheets) in the generated profile.
